Our History!
Hello! Thank you for clicking more than the home page. Welcome to Tops Street!
Tops Street is an online business selling unique tops. We are currently only producing themed tees as our first venture, operating solely in the context of Singapore.
Yes, Tops Street is a new baby. It was officially born on 9th June 2008. We are now looking forward to being a month’s old. Anyway, Tops Street is actually under an online project in our diploma’s elective “e-Business in Hospitality & Tourism”. We are to conduct real sale transactions online during the course of the project. We are now still learning to appreciate the challenges of running an online business, so do give us your support with a ‘pinch’ of understanding.
Of course, we are doing all these for fun too! Not the not-so-serious attitude of fun, I mean, but as a new experience of being our own bosses. Hm, sounds cool, huh?

Mesy here. I am the leader of this project. That’s why my message is the longest. Well, I initially thought I was really ‘suay’ for being ‘sabo-ed’ by my group mates as Felicia pointed me to be the leader. This is the first project we started this semester by the way. That means I would have to tire myself longer till August ends. Enough about the sabo part, I would like to say that as we went along the rocky journey of finding suppliers and designers, squeezing our brain juices for marvellous ideas and scratching our heads to know every little thing about online business, we have succeeded to launch this website and get Tops Street in operation, today!

Olivia is my former secondary school friend (Mesy’s friend). She is a student at Singapore Polytechnic. She is currently undertaking the Diploma in Digital Media, under The School of Media & Technology.

Tops Street’s Cameraman!
Derek is Felicia’s church friend. But he is now Tops Street’s friend too. We really want to thank him for the time and effort in helping us. Anyway, we shall write more about him when we get to know him better. We only know that he loves photography for now. And we are confident he will be a great and promising photographer in the near future. Yes, yes, you can tell from the photographs he took for us!

Shu Yu
Tops Street’s Model
Shu Yu is the first model we engage. Wonder why she looks so much like our big boss, Wanrong? Because she is Wanrong’s younger sister, though wanrong appears to be shorter huh. Errhem. She is also a TP student, under the Diploma in Business Studies Grouping, in her freshman year.
All of us witnessed the photoshoot session. She is professional though this is her first time taking the role of a model. If you want her number, you may contact her sis to get the permission!

Washing Instructions
To maintain the tees’ quality, here are some tips to help you!
- Turn the tee inside out
- Try not to mix with other coloured clothings
- Do not use chloride or bleach
- Mild detergent is sufficient
- The maximum washing temperature is 40 degree Celsius
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron directly on the image
- If the image turns lighter after wash, simply place a blank piece of A4 white paper on
top of the image, and then hand iron evenly to restore the colour
- Set the iron to the lowest temperature and do not iron over the same area for too long
- When peeling the paper off the image after ironing, you should do it in a horizontal direction

How to place your order online?
1. E-mail your order to topsstreet@gmail.com. Tell us the product code, size, quantity, payment mode, your bank account type and number, delivery mode, your physical address, name and contact number
2. Wait for our confirmation note
3. Make payment and then e-mail us to inform within 2 working days
4. Transaction is successful when we send a receipt note to you
5. Wait for the collection date to get your tees or have them mailed to you

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE – ONLINE SALES
Step 1
E-mail your order to topsstreet@gmail.com in the format stated under Step 2.
Step 2
The format is as follows. You shall fill in and change the fields accurately.
E-mail Subject: (Product Code)Step 3
Please wait for our reply. We will try our best to revert to your order within one working day by sending you a confirmation note. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, inclusive of replaced public holidays.
Step 4
Check your mailbox daily. Upon receiving the confirmation note, Tops Street will then tell you if the requested tee is available.
If positive, the confirmation note will also specify the total amount payable with the breakdown of the total charge which includes the price of the tee(s) with postage fees, if applicable.
Tops Street's account type and number will be stated too for you to make the payment. All online customers will also be given customized initials for verification purposes during collection. The initials will also be used by customers who opt for i-banking. We will specify Tops Street 's nickname too for i-banking transactions.
Step 5
You are to make the payment within two working days upon receiving your confirmation note. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, inclusive of replaced public holidays.
After you have made the payment, please e-mail back to us at topsstreet@gmail.com to inform us that you have made the payment. This helps us to track and verify your payment in advance.
ATM Funds Transfer
Please retain your receipt for future references till you receive the tees. Also, in your e-mail, please specify the transaction date, time, reference number as well as the amount of funds transferred.
I-Banking
Please e-mail us by stating the transaction date, time, reference number as well as the amount of funds transferred. You may wish to print out a copy of the i-banking confirmation for future references till you receive the tees.

Failure to make the payment and sending us the e-mail regarding the transaction records within 2 working days after receiving the confirmation note will result in you being blacklisted as a ‘dead buyer'. All dead buyers will then be denied to order and purchase any Tops Street 's products. The tee(s) ordered will also be placed back to Tops Street 's inventory for the next interested customer.
Step 6
We will start to process the tee(s) for delivery only after the correct payment is received by Tops Street . If positive, we will send a receipt note within two working days to your e-mail address to inform you about the successful payment received as well as the estimated day on which you would receive our tee(s).
If you opt for the mass meet-up session, please continue to read Step 7 .
Step 7
For customers who opt for the mass meet-up session, you are to produce your initials for verification purposes during collection.

Prices
The prices stated on Tops Street 's website are fixed and non-negotiable. Bargains will not be entertained.
The tee(s) will only be processed for delivery after the payment is received by Tops Street .
There are three ways we get our tees to your hands.
1. Mass Meet-Ups
It is a weekly session where Tops Street 's bosses arrange a meet-up session with the customers for collection of tees purchased. The time and venue for meet-ups are strictly at Tops Street 's convenience.
All meet-ups are fixed and made known to you on our site. You are then able to opt for this session upon placing the order(s). This is a complimentary service we provide to our customers. We will send a reminder to your e-mail address one day before the meet-up session.
Weekly mass meet-ups only take place within Temasek Polytehnic campus for its students and lecturers.
Please be punctual for the meet-up session, as advised on the pre-set time and venue. We can only afford to wait to a maximum of 20 minutes from the stipulated time.
If you do not turn up, you will have to wait to collect the tee at the next meet-up session. Failure to collect your tee(s) for two consecutive weekly meet-up sessions will result in the failure of transaction. We will NOT refund the amount paid back to you and you will be blacklisted. We shall not entertain any order(s) from you in the future.
If you are unable to join the meet-up sessions, please opt for either registered or normal mail. We will mail out the tee(s) to the addresses provided by you. So please check your details thoroughly before you send out the order(s) to us.
2. Registered Mail
A registered mail is highly recommended for customers who do not opt for mass meet-up. It comes with a tracking number that allows the package to be traced all over Singapore . This helps to ensure that the package does not go missing as the delivery status can be checked online.
3. Regular Mail
For customers who opt for regular mail(s), it must be known that Tops Street is not liable for any missing post should you encounter this. We are also not responsible for any damage to the post received as all tees are thoroughly inspected before mailing.

As we are still very green in this craft, we only mail to addresses in Singapore ! But with your continuous support, who knows, our tees would soon start their happy journeys around the globe!
Sales Priority
Sales are done on a first-come-first-serve basis. This refers to the one who confirms the online purchase through payments.
All customers are encouraged to purchase online. Offline businesses are strictly conducted on a case-by-case basis where they would have to first register with us throughout the week. Their orders would then be placed on our weekly waiting list and would only be processed a week later. In short, offline customers may not get the tees if they are popular and they wait longer. We do not guarantee the availability of stock as we always prioritize the online orders to the online customers who can make the payments first.
Dead Buyers
Dead buyers would be blacklisted. We would not entertain future order(s) from the dead buyers. We do that for the sake of our other sincere buyers too.
Reply Obligation
We reserve the right to reject any order(s) that we are not comfortable with at our own discretion. If you have sent us an e-mail and are puzzled about why we do not reply, it could be due to the following reasons:
We do not divulge our material sources
We do not entertain any price bargains
We do not entertain any irrelevant e-mails to Tops Street 's operations
Returned Products
Defected item bought from Tops Street must be returned within 7 days of purchase. Incorrect sizing from purchase will not fall under our return policy. We are not liable for unfit tees as measurements are provided. Items sold are non-refundable and exchangeable for this reason.
Do clear your doubts regarding the tee(s) before you place an order by sending us an e-mail at topsstreet@gmail.com. We will try our best to revert within one working day.
A return will be administered either in the form of one-to-one exchange or in the form of refund to your bank account. For refund, we deal it on a case-by-case basis. The only mode of contact is through e-mail to and from topsstreet@gmail.com .
Re-Print of Tees
We reserve the right to re-print our tees at our discretion. This is done due to popular demand.
Any tee that is tagged “SOLD OUT” is not available at the time it is tagged. However, you may still send us an e-mail to topsstreet@gmail.com to inform us your interest in buying the tee.
We will follow-up and try our best to re-print the sold-out tees if possible, providing that it is by popular demand. Nonetheless, if the number of orders does not meet the printing requirements, we are sorry that no re-printing would be done. We will notify you latest within 14 working days the latest.
